I’m Rita Agoulian, a food obsessive and founder of Australian social media marketing agency, LickYourPhone Media. We create high impact, cost effective social media strategies for the hospitality industry.
Although we’re still young, I’ve been able to evolve the business into the success story it is today by combining my deep understanding of the social media landscape with my love of food, restaurants – and the people behind them. After quitting my full-time finance role to chase my dreams, it’s been a passion-fuelled rollercoaster of failures and successes, continuous learning, and a deep sense of purpose. I believe these are ingredients behind the exponential growth of LickYourPhone Media; we’ve jumped from two employees to twelve since October 2021.
LickYourPhone Media was created out of passion. I had noticed there were too many great restaurants out there struggling and I was able to help them with my knowledge, love for business and experience in social media marketing. At that stage, I had amassed over 2+ million followers organically without any ad spend who trusted my recommendations on where and what to eat. I knew I could help business owners become successful by tapping into the power of social media with my marketing strategies. I believe anything less than excellence is letting people down.

Knowing exactly how to tap into the power of social media to create buzz, generate word of mouth referrals, attract new followers, and convert them into customers without any ad spend is a lifeline for our clients.
Over the last two years, we’ve been a crucial support to the flailing hospitality industry during some of the most challenging business conditions ever experienced. We’ve helped clients survive and thrive by continuously creating opportunities where there appeared to be none.
I believed I would succeed therefore I did and with this mindset was also able to help our clients become successful. Through our affordability, strategy, and creativity, we've helped restaurants pivot to home delivery, re-engage with lapsed customers, and better communicate their menu choices. We've had great success utilising nano influencers on TikTok and Instagram, and with cultural campaigns. I regularly conduct research to identify social trends and test each of our strategies against a set of benchmarks to gain as much market intelligence as possible. You'll often find me up at 3:30am doing just that!
