    Total 250 words used.

Capital investments of $100+ billion occurred in 2021 in healthcare start-ups alone. There is an innovation ecosystem taking shape globally with 40,000+ healthcare start-ups, developing transformative solutions and in need of partnering with established firms to take those solutions to market.

Corporate innovation hubs navigate this startup market on behalf of complex multinational corporations to drive investments and develop partnerships. Founding and leading such an organization is far from easy. Several factors come into play, including managing the corporate asset portfolio that is often competitive to that of emerging start-ups; securing available capital with shareholder commitment; creating a two-speed system between large slower corporations and fast-paced start-ups; building a two-culture dynamic of corporate vs entrepreneurial approach; managing different appetites for risk-taking and more that make a corporation-start-up marriage troublesome.

Harietta’s achievements in the first year are impressive, especially when compared to similar industry trajectories that typically dedicate the first year for design alone. Harietta has been ultra-effective in delivering tangible results and fully operationalizing the organization in 6 months. She launched a physical Israeli Innovation Hub and an Accelerator Program; developed processes to identify IQVIA fit-for-purpose start-up partners across Europe, US, and Asia [REDACTED FOR PUBLICATION]. Being creative, she rolled out legal and evaluation processes and a novel creative partnership framework to cater to the diversity of early-stage companies. The future of healthcare is bright from Harietta’s vision of larger corporations joining with start-ups to bring the next generation of medicines and solutions to market, all with the patient at the center.
