A former UC Berkeley softball player, Jill Osur still draws on her athletic background to hone her leadership style and overcome obstacles. Deeply moved to elevate women and inspire meaningful change, her values have guided her career—first as a savvy political fundraiser, then in marketing with Special Olympics Northern California & Nevada, and now, as an entrepreneur. Jill has helped launch numerous consumer product companies and ventures focused on “doing well by doing good.” Previously the co-founder and director of California-based winery group GoldLine Enterprises, Jill founded a digital winery, Teneral Cellars, in 2020. Teneral Cellars is a certified women owned business, and is driven by Jill’s belief that wine can be a conduit for change; a force for gender equity and social justice within the wine industry and our culture at large. Jill was the 2021 winner of the Women Presidents’ Organization: Adrienne Hall Award for Breaking Down Barriers. Jill sits on the Advisory Board for Enterprising Women and the Women Business Collaborative, and is a board member of Hilinski’s Hope, which provides integrative mental wellness programs for student athletes.

Teneral Cellars was created in October 2020 to harness the power of business for good and to use wine as a conduit for change, crucial conversations, and investments toward an equitable future for all women.

Almost 70% of all wine is purchased by women, and the industry doesn't reflect its largest customer. 100% of our vendors and suppliers are women-owned businesses. Teneral Cellars has been featured in Wine Enthusiast, Forbes, BuzzFeed, Success, Authority, Thrive Global, Woman's Day, Glamour, NBC and many other outlets for elevating women and inspiring change. Jill was the 2021 winner of the Women Presidents’ Organization: Adrienne Hall Award for Breaking Down Barriers.

These achievements are significant as we are disrupting an industry that is steep in tradition and dominated by men. We are showcasing that we can sustainably farm and produce award-winning wines with the best in the industry, but operate a business that is diverse and inclusive and truly reflects the industry's largest customer - women. Winning the WPO Adrienne Hall Award in 2021 for Breaking Down Barriers was a significant achievement as only one of these awards is given annually to a WPO member from all 160 chapters around the world. Being recognized at an event with some of the most successful women business leaders in the world was a honor I will never forget and it's a daily reminder for me to stay focused on my passion and purpose to disrupt the wine industry.
