But the heart of Achievers is the people, not just the proprietary technology. Achievers is committed to its people, their development, and cultivating them as the future leaders of single the company. This commitment is visible with an employee year-over-year growth of 165%. Every employee is an owner of the company through the Achievers’ employee stock option plan. Achievers developed the industry’s first single instance, multi-tenancy recognition platform. The implementation was the result of an organization-wide effort involving contributions from all levels and all departments to assess an incoming client’s environment, then design and develop a program, customize features to meet their workforce’s unique needs, and launch the program enterprise-wide.

Within the industry, Achievers continues to produce thought leadership content through different mediums including white papers, webinars, and industry events. Most recently, Achievers surveyed over 1,800 employees, 200 CEOs, and 640 HR professionals on their experience within their workforce or the experience of their employees within their workforce. The study was a first in its kind in shining a light on the frequent disconnect between employees and the HR organizations that support them and the CEOs that lead their organization regarding what motivates employees and what CEOs and HR thinks motivates employees. As the CEO of Achievers, David Brennan is also the hands-on leader of the business development and finance teams. David graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island in 1986 and earned his Chartered Accounting designation in 1988. Experienced in both large and small organizations, David has been an executive at organizations such as Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) and high growth organizations such as PixStream Incorporated (acquired by Cisco Systems). David is a passionate leader and firmly believes that recognition has an infinite ROI.
