1. Tell the story about your organization's sales training and/or coaching program since the beginning of July last year (up to 500 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:
In 1988, Gary Keller, co-founder and chairman of Keller Williams Realty, hired
a coach for his executive staff. Today, that commitment to coaching has become
the epicenter of what Keller Williams Realty stands for: a training and
coaching company cleverly disguised as a real estate franchise.
Mega Achievement Productivity Systems, also known as The MAPS Institute,
stands as Keller Williams Realty's renowned coaching program. Over the past
six years, the full-service coaching department has developed more than 20
programs on productivity, leadership and technology for the more than 1,600
clients. Committed to expanding agents' minds as well as their lives, the MAPS
coaching program gives agents a chance to run with new ideas, find new
inspiration, sharpen skills and form habits that take their careers to new
heights.
MAPS President and long-time real estate expert and coach, Dianna Kokoszka is
the driving force behind the success of The MAPS Institute. Recently named one
of the 50 Most Influential Women in Real Estate by a SwanePoel TRENDS Report
for industry-wide influence, she is passionately committed to building the
most powerful coaching and mastermind program in the real estate industry. As
a result of her powerful leadership skills the success of clients enrolled in
MAPS coaching programs is far outpacing the rest of the industry.
With proof in the numbers, a study conducted by Keller Williams Realty in 2007
found that agents enrolled in MAPS coaching programs averaged four times the
gross commission income, took an average of four times more listings and sold
an average of four times more units, and held an average sales volume that was
four times higher than non-coached agents or agents who were enrolled in other
coaching programs.
Firmly believing in their clients' potential for greatness, The MAPS Institute
has remained on top of the real estate coaching arena by producing successful
coaching and training programs that are on the leading edge of a consistently
shifting real estate market. Programs like Mastery Coaching give agents
powerful one-on-one personal training in mindset, skills and discipline with
high accountability. Among the best minds in the industry, MAPS coaches help
agents watch their profits so that they can improve their bottom line while
learning the habits needed to change the face of their businesses. With more
than 10 programs in productivity, leadership and technology, the Fast Track
Programs offer large-group phone calls for mega achievement and sustained
accountability. These calls have proven so successful that new coaching calls
are developed on a regular basis to keep up with demand.
With a coaching program that outshines any other within the real estate
industry, Keller Williams Realty is proud to nominate the MAPS coaching
department for the Sales Training or Coaching Program of the Year. It is the
conviction that mastery is a process not an event that MAPS so prides itself
on believing, while focusing on solutions, challenging beliefs and holding
clients accountable.
