Management Awards Categories

Recognizing the achievements since the beginning of 2023 of executive managers, chairmen, and management teams. 
   Nominations that won in the 2024 IBAs may be resubmitted for consideration in the 2025 IBAs.  If they have been updated with recent achievements they may be submitted to the same categories in which they won.  If they have not been updated they must be submitted to categories different from those in which they won.

The information requirements for entries in these categories in the 2025 competition include:

  An essay of up to 650 words describing the achievements of the nominated management team, group, or individual since 1 January 2023, OR a video of up to five (5) minutes in length describing the same.  Nominations in the Lifetime Achievement Award category may describe the nominee's lifetime of achievement.

  In bullet-list form (up to 150 words), a brief summary of up to ten (10) of the nominee's chief achievements since 1 January 2023

  Optional (but highly recommended), a collection of supporting files and web addresses that you may upload to our server to support your entry and provide more background information to the judges

A36. Management Team of the Year: through this category you can nominate your entire management team with one nomination. 

A37. Best Innovation in Management Practices (new for 2025): celebrates groundbreaking management strategies that improve efficiency, collaboration, or morale.

A38, Chairman of the Year: recognizing the achievements of board chairmen since the beginning of 2023.

A39. Emerging Leader of the Year (new for 2025): honors rising management talent who have demonstrated exceptional leadership potential and impact.

A40. Excellence in Crisis Leadership (new for 2025): recognizes leaders or teams that successfully navigated their organizations through crises or significant disruptions.

A41. Excellence in Diversity Management (new for 2025): recognizes leaders or teams fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within their organizations.

A42. Innovator of the Year: recognizing the individual who's contributed most to innovation, within their organization and/or industry, since the beginning of 2023. 

A43.  Lifetime Achievement Award.  These categories will recognize the entire careers of professionals who have worked at least 20 years. In these categories you may describe the individual nominee’s achievements over their entire career, not just since the beginning of 2023.

A44. Maverick of the Year: recognizing the individual who's affected the most positive change on his or her organization and/or industry since the beginning of 2023.

A45. Woman of the Year: recognizing the achievements of women in the workplace since the beginning of 2023.
