2005 American Business Awards Announced
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
More than 660 business executives from across the U.S.A. attended the
third annual American Business Awards in the Broadway Ballroom of New
York's Marriott Marquis Hotel on Monday, June 6. The proceedings were
videocast live on the Internet by Speedera Networks and HB Group, and
broadcast on radio in the U.S.A. by the Business TalkRadio Network.

In addition to more than 100 Stevie Awards in competitive categories
ranging from Best Executive to Best Overall Company, honorary Stevie
Awards were presented by 2005 American Business Awards sponsors to
Boston Scientific, Factiva, Genmar Holdings, Value Selling Systems, &
Walden Venture Capital. Donald Trump received the first ever Lifetime
Achievement Stevie Award.

Stevie Awards for Women Entrepreneurs Plans for 2005
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Plans are being finalized for the 2005 edition of the Stevie Awards for
Women Entrepreneurs, and an announcement about the program's sponsor,
schedule, and entry criteria will be made in the coming weeks.

Last year the program was open to all women-owned businesses in the
U.S.A. with up to 100 employees. 18 women and women-owned companies
were recognized at a gala ceremony in New York in October.
