    As Microsoft Corporate Vice President of Cloud & AI Commercial Marketing, Alysa leads at the intersection of product, marketing, and technology. She influences Microsoft’s product evolution in its earliest stages while leveraging marketing as a strategic driver of growth. She leads the teams that spark massive product usage, drive product demand from day one, and deliver an exceptional user experience. Her greatest passion is not only inspiring and motivating great teams – but putting the power of marketing to work for transformational business growth.    

    Alysa is adept at translating marketing strategies into financial outcomes – but also passionate about supporting startup and growth stage businesses. As an expert in cloud, AI, data, and mixed reality technologies, she confidently bridges the gap between business, product, and tech to guide strategic growth.   

    Demonstrating the business value of AI.  

    Alysa has led conversations with media, industry analysts, customers, and partners around the business value of AI, grounded on a study that Microsoft commissioned through IDC in November 2023. This study provides unique insights into how Microsoft AI is being used to drive economic impact for organizations, illustrating that AI has demonstrable business value, and we are seeing this surface in core use cases within areas like employee experience, customer engagement, and internal business processes while helping to bend the curve on innovation.  

    Along with showcasing the business value of AI, Alysa has also helped influence the growth of Microsoft Azure’s AI customer base, which now has 53,000 Azure AI customers, with over one-third new to Azure over the past 12 months.  

    AI-led healthcare industry transformation.  

    Alysa has not only demonstrated AI's benefits for businesses but also spearheaded real-world AI and cloud solutions across major industries, notably in healthcare. Under Alysa’s leadership, Microsoft is leading the transformation of the healthcare industry and helping healthcare organizations better serve patients with data and AI. At HLTH in October 2023, she unveiled healthcare data solutions in Microsoft Fabric via the Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare. This technology enables healthcare professionals to easily aggregate and analyze data, enhancing patient and clinician experiences, improving care quality, and streamlining operations cost-effectively.

    In September 2023, Alysa hosted Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, and Larry Ellison, Oracle Chairman and CTO, to announce a joint offering called Oracle Database@Azure, which provides customers the ability to run business-critical databases directly in Microsoft Azure. Building upon the longstanding partnership between Microsoft and Oracle, this offering is important because in helping customers enable more agile business operations, ignite a new wave of product innovation, or deliver increased value to their own, end customers.

    • Azure all-up accounted for more than 50 percent of the Microsoft’s total revenue for the first time 

    • Azure’s customer base now has 53,000 Azure AI customers, with over one-third new to Azure over the past 12 months 

    • Power Platform has nearly grown to 16 million monthly active users 

    • 230,000 organizations have already used AI capabilities in Power Platform, up over 80% quarter-over-quarter 

    • Partners and customers from various industries have adopted Microsoft Industry Cloud solutions to drive innovation and positive society change 

    • Alysa has also won multiple awards for her leadership and business success including Silver winner Best In Biz Executive of the Year 2023 and Platinum winner TITAN Women In Business Awards 2024.
