Established in 1994, FPT IS Company Limited is currently the leading company in Vietnam and the region with services and solutions in various industries: Government, Banking - Finance, Healthcare, Transportation, Public Finance, etc.
Since 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic has significantly affected the general meeting of shareholders (AGM) season around the world when in most countries, large gatherings were temporarily limited. As a result, many national governments have decided to relax existing regulations on participation in general meetings by taking emergency action, allowing companies to hold AGMs completely online, as long as they meet certain conditions. The 2020 Vietnamese Enterprise Law also stated 4 specific methods of organizing the General Meeting of Shareholders: organizing in person, online, combining both direct and online forms, or collecting opinions in hard copy.
From the above demand, UBot Meeting was first introduced in 2021 as one of the products in the UBot ecosystem - The RPAaaS automation solution for the Finance & Accounting department. Later on, due to larger demand of enterprises and event organizers to operate various tasks related to organizing AGMs and contests on an online platform, UBot Meeting was officially renamed UVote in January, 2023.
