In view of the surging demand in online shopping, Watsons constantly aims to enhance its app to deliver a seamless Offline Plus Online retail experience. The Watsons App has been upgraded to version 3.0 with numerous features including an all-new intuitive navigation experience, access to member card, and packed with interactive “shoppertainment” experiences.
The intuitive tab design helps entice users to browse products effortlessly. A prominent "Express delivery" button is added at the top so users can turn on “express” mode at a tap and have their orders ready as quickly as 30 minutes. The app also provides easy access to a virtual member card that they can use to earn points while shopping in our physical stores. The “Discover” page is enhanced with purposeful content, plus a livestream section "WatsLive". It also introduced AI innovation tools to customers, such as doing a digital skin analysis before picking the right product.
The new app has unquestionably brought a significant positive impact to our business – increasing our eStore awareness by 67%, increasing the proportion of mobile app sales by 58% and increasing conversion by 19%.
