VADİSTANBUL WINTER WONDER (25 NOVEMBER - 31 DECEMBER)

ABOUT PROJECT
New Year is the most magical time of the year. Especially after the pandemic, we missed to celebrate this magical time together. This makes the famous Christmas festivals in the cities all the more important this year. Every city has its own Christmas festival. Colmar has La Magie de Noel, Strazburg has the Chriskindlemarik, Dresden has the Striezelmarkt. This year, Vadistanbul, Istanbul’s most popular shopping centre, decided to create a famous Christmas festival for Istanbul, just like other cities. But Vadistanbul wanted to organise the biggest Christmas festival in Istanbul! And unlike all other Christmas festivals, these experiences are free for everyone in Istanbul! Vadistanbul Winter Wonder brought the Christmas spirit to the shopping centre with Christmas decorations, photo points, workshops for adults and children, Christmas parades, music concerts, pop-up stores, Christmas treats, Christmas carousel.This year, Istanbul residents were unable to experience snowfall. But Vadistanbul Winter Wonder also brings this surprise for the customers of Vadistanbul! A special snow machine that is used every weekend!

RESULTS

More than 2.3 million people visited the Winter Wonder Festival.

The number of visitors to the shopping centre increased by 70%

The number of visitors to the fashion street of the shopping centre where the Christmas festival took place increased by 200%

Over 28 million interactions on social media.

Vadistanbul became a trend on Instagram and TikTok.

Vadistanbul's Instagram gained more than 10.000 new followers.

Winter Wonder is Istanbul's famous Christmas festival, but the real glory is the smiles on the faces of visitors living the Christmas dream in Istanbul.
