    Turkish Aerospace was established in 1973

    Being among the top hundred global players in aviation and space industry, Turkish Aerospace is organized under six strategic business centers depending on the projects, including:

    • Structural Group,
    • Aircraft Group,
    • Helicopter Group,
    • Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Systems Group,
    • Space Systems Group,
    • National Fighter

    Turkish Aerospace, which has continuously grown its human resources since the day established and continued to grow while the world's biggest and important companies were shrinking under the conditions of the pandemic and global crisis.

    Continuing to grow as a family in line with its mission and vision, Turkish Aerospace maintains its export leadership by making export agreements with many countries around the world. The products -produced and developed by Turkish Aerospace- have an important place in the international arena and are in demand.

    Success in business comes from fostering a family-like environment, caring for employees, and creating value despite challenges. During the 2020-2022 pandemic and global crisis, we upheld these principles and continued to progress.

    While almost all companies in the sector dismiss their employees due to the pandemic and global crisis;

    Turkish Aerospace;
    - increased the number of human resources (42% Engineers, 45% Technicians)  by 56% -from 8,559 to 13,398- in only two years between the beginning of 2021 and end of the 2022.

    - increased the number of intern engineers by 73% -from 2,000 to 3,500-. in only two years between the beginning of 2021 and end of the 2022.

    Amid the pandemic and global crisis, Turkish Aerospace maintained high performance and accomplished significant projects while most sector companies reduced production.

    As prominent among these achievements,

    Turkish Aerospace;

    - signed export agreements with several countries for several indegenous products. (Attach Helicopter, ANKA and AKSUNGUR Unmanned Air Vehicles, HURKUS Trainer and Light Attack Aircraft)

    - produced and delivered ATAK Helicopters, ANKA and AKSUNGUR UAVs , HURKUS Trainer and Light Attack Airplanes.

    - launched MMU (5th Gen. Fighter Aircraft), HÜRJET (Advanced Jet Trainer and Light Attack Aircraft) and ANKA III (UAV), by reaching the ground testing process. All three will make thair first flight util the end of 2023.

    - has been one of the best suppliers of the biggest global aircraft companies as earlier with highest quality and highest performance of Structural Group.

    The uniqueness and significance of the achievements Turkish Aerospace have achieved is related to the period in which they were realized.

    The Covid-19 pandemic and the global crisis, which the whole world faced between 2021 and 2022, changed the dynamics of the aviation industry.  Due to these conditions, the aviation and space industry slowed down its activities, made significant reductions in human resources and paused new breakthroughs.

    As Turkish Aerospace, we have continued to grow by expanding our family and never stopped production, despite the layoffs during the pandemic period. During this period, we added new ones to our achievements, cared about our employees and realized important new breakthroughs and achievements for the sector.

    While well-established companies in the sector shrank significantly in human resources, we achieved a significant growth in employment; 56% for engineers and 73% for trainee engineers.

    While essential companies had to reduce their production and growth rates, we have maintained out high performance.
