In 2022, Pan American Energy (PAE), the main private producer, investor, and employer of the oil and gas sector in Argentina, set out to celebrate like never before its 25 years of commitment, growth, and innovation to achieve energy development in the country.
Since its inception, PAE has undertaken initiatives that improve the quality of life of the communities near its operations and foster the creation of strong and long-term relationships. Its CSR programs prioritize Education, Health and Sports, Local Development, and Environment through public-private partnerships.
In this context, PAE opted for a unique approach to commemorate the company’s 25th anniversary. Rather than the typical institutional celebration, they chose to implement a series of health and education initiatives with substantial and enduring benefits for the residents of various provinces:
—Chubut, specifically in the towns of Sarmiento (20,000 inhabitants) and Comodoro Rivadavia (700,000 inhabitants).
—Santa Cruz, focusing on Pico Truncado (25,000 inhabitants).
—Neuquén, encompassing the capital (700,000 inhabitants) and Añelo (8,000 inhabitants).
—Salta, targeting Tartagal (170,000 inhabitants).
The seven projects, initiated in 2022 and concluded in 2023, exemplify PAE’s commitment to making meaningful contributions as a catalyst for positive change within the communities.
