In 2021, NIO announced "Clean Parks," an ecosystem co-construction initiative, to support more nature reserves across the world in adopting smart EVs, constructing clean energy infrastructure, and formulating clean and low carbon energy circulation to protect the authenticity and integrity of ecosystems. Over the next three years, NIO will invest to support the use of electric vehicles and the construction of clean energy infrastructure in nature reserves around the world. NIO will help these regions build a clean and low-carbon energy self-cycling system to guard the originality and integrity of the ecosystem.

On NIO Day 2020, we released the Blue Point blue point plan to help users certify and trade carbon emission reductions for tram travel. Currently, there are nearly 110,000 Wei Incoming users participate in this carbon reduction action.

NIO's global ecological co-conservation plan is Clean Parks and was established to fulfill the guiding philosophy of Blue Sky Coming. Clean Parks has nine ecological co-construction projects in China, including Sanjiangyuan National Park, Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park, Northeast China Tiger and Leopard National Park, and Giant Panda National Park. And landed the first overseas project: cooperation with the Danish Nature Conservation Society, to support the low-carbon patrolling of 4 nature reserves in Denmark.

Clean Park is an open platform co-initiated with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). We also jointly launched the Clean Parks Citizen Scientist Program with Shanshui Conservation Center.
