Ella Louise Allaire is a CEO, producer, show designer, composer, librettist, lyricist, international speaker, mentor, and entrepreneur. Over the years, she has gained an international reputation by creating and managing visionary projects. This makes her a one of a kind, Creative Executive Manager in the entertainment industry.
For 20 years, as CEO and founder of MONLOVE, Ella Louise spearheaded numerous projects on the creative side and business management side including raising financing. Since 2022 these include the creation and production of the musical: Scooby-Doo! and the Lost City of Gold, (2022-current) where, as creative, she signed the original concept, book, music & lyrics and on the production / management side managing a 7-million-dollar production budget. As well, she oversaw the immersive educational experience on NASA’s Artemis missions which is to send the first woman on the moon and the first person of color: All Systems Are Go! (2023-current) featuring Snoopy and the beloved Peanuts characters, currently playing at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The show has generated more than 500,000 entries. Currently, she’s developing a Looney Tunes Immersive Experience (to open in 2024) and the immersive dining Le Festin™ (to open in 2025).
Ella Louise put in place an HR program for equal salary opportunities between men and women. In 2022, Monlove’s CFO was a woman with the top salary in the company. Monlove's puppet shop director is a woman, and many specialists in the puppet construction team are women. In 2022, 72% of the staff came from diversity. In addition, Monlove filled some of the traditional “men's jobs” such as “Rigger” with women.
Since 2022, Ella Louise has been nominated the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneurs of the year in 2022; and Finalist at the Quebec Business Women Award for international achievements in 2022 and 2023. Under her leadership, MONLOVE won the GOLD STEVIE AWARD 2023: Media & Entertainment – Small. She was one of the 10 worldwide finalists at the WEPitch Competition Challenge in Denver at WBENC event March 2024, for its innovative, compelling presentation of sustainable, social impact projects.
While touring the USA with Scooby-Doo, COVID-19 was still very active. Ella Louise managed to keep everyone safe with moral and physical support, ensuring that all staff could perform their duties with confidence, providing medical insurance, safe travel, social distancing, and simple room occupancy.
Ella Louise repeated this feat in Abu Dhabi in April 2024, managing a change of dates due to the war in Gaza and attacks on cargo around the region. The show's containers had to be rerouted around Africa. Despite these challenges, all staff returned home safely, after performing in front of the Royal family.
Ella Louise is a regular speaker at prestigious events such as SXSW, HUB Montreal, IAAPA, EDC retreat and the RFAQ: Heading Towards Success convention. She’s also a mentor for numerous business accelerators including ‘La Piscine’ a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs in their growth and development.
Other accomplishments include Cirque du Soleil’s KA (Las Vegas); Zed (Tokyo Disney); Alegria; Cirque du Soleil Worlds Away, co-produced by James Cameron. The original concept, book, music, for the multi-billion-dollar franchise – Ice Age Live! A Mammoth Adventure which broke sales records with over 3 million viewers and was voted the #1 show in Europe in 2013. The Nut Job Live & Friends; Vancouver Winter Olympics; Conan The Barbarian; Philippe Noiret: Gentleman Saltimbanque; The Scorpion King 2; Dateline NBC; NFL movies; Oprah Winfrey Show; the video game: Spiderman Shattered Dimensions; McDonald’s commercial: Fishing; The Musical Box for the acrobatic troupe of China; Journey to the Center of the Earth.
She graduated from McGill University where she received the “James McGill Award” and the “Music Faculty Award”. Admitted to the Masters program at the University of Montreal in film composition, she received the Canada Council Fellow.
