Megaworld Foundation, the socio-civic arm of property giant Megaworld, is known for its well established Scholarship Program and its active support to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Foundation’s flagship initiative, its Scholarship Program, has celebrated the success of graduate scholars since 2000 and now annually supports 1,000 bright but financially-disadvantaged scholars. Upon completing their bachelor’s degree, its scholars also receive employment opportunities from Megaworld, its subsidiaries, and affiliates.
In 2023, “Walk Into Your Future” Scholarship Caravan allocated 200 scholarship grants and reached out to the youth residing in 17 barangays near Megaworld Corporation’s townships. By helping determined students in pursuing their studies, Megaworld Foundation is not only uplifting their lives but also the communities where Megaworld is present.

Below are Megaworld Foundation’s four (4) greatest achievements since 2022:
- Megaworld Foundation expanded its active support to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) following the launch of Megaworld Corporation's company-wide sustainability initiative, MEGreen.
- Megaworld Foundation provided 200 scholarship grants to deserving students residing in communities near Megaworld's townships by relaunching the "Walk Into Your Future" Scholarship Caravan.
- For the past 26 years, Megaworld Foundation has provided career opportunities to over 600 scholars upon finishing their degrees.

In 2023, Megaworld Corporation introduced its company-wide sustainability campaign, MEGreen. This led Megaworld Foundation in strengthening its efforts to reach out to underprivileged but bright students residing in barangays near Megaworld’s townships. To bring this into play, the Foundation strategically coordinated with 15 different barangays, or geographic communities in the Philippines, in Metro Manila and nearby provinces as it relaunched its scholarship caravan “Walk Into Your Future”. Eventually, two more caravans were added to cater farther barangays in San Vicente, Palawan and Mactan, Cebu.
“Walk Into Your Future”, which was first introduced in 2019, gave the youth hope to look beyond their present challenges and start dreaming again. It has been a doorway to the Scholarship Program and Megaworld Foundation looks forward to welcoming more aspirants towards a brighter tomorrow.
The applicants found the scholarship caravan helpful, with a 96.90% rating, as they continue and eventually finish their studies despite their financial challenges. The Foundation also prepares them as they start meaningful careers in Megaworld, its subsidiaries, and affiliates upon completing their bachelor’s degree.
Before participating in the scholarship caravan, only 61% of the applicants were familiar with Megaworld and Megaworld Foundation. This was greatly improved by introducing the Foundation and its endeavors during the one-day pre-qualification event. The invitations also featured the township near the barangay. The scholarship caravan also sparked interest, with a 95.31% rating, as most of the students were eager to know more about Megaworld and Megaworld Foundation.
