MDI Ventures is a multi-stage Venture Capital firm backed by Telkom Indonesia with offices in Indonesia, Singapore and the United States with extended offices in Europe and South Korea. Since 2016, MDI has been trusted in managing multiple funds both from internal and external.
MDI provides seed- to growth-stage capital for early- and mid-stage companies founded in Southeast Asia and Globally but with operation focus in SEA and ultimately in Indonesia. So far, MDI has invested over 80+ companies across 12 countries.

As the time going, we’ve committed to keep expand our investment portfolio. As we can see in 2022, we succeeded to reach numerous changes as MDI’s portfolio grew from 74 to over 80+ companies.
In terms of valuation, MDI has reached amount of $ 660 Million USD in 2022, or raised 31% compared to the previous year. What drives this is driven by the increase in our investment disbursement as well as of its growth.

We consider the continuous growth of our investments and portfolio, which are now on track, to have started to contribute in a positive way to society leveraged by our investment. For example, as we keep monitor our startup portfolio, many of them are taking a role in accelerating digitization in business, simplifying the process, and providing seamless accessibility services to the public.
Also, our recent performance has stimulated other parties to take a part in our vision to contributing to all stages of investment. MDI unified their investment operations using one-team, multiple-fund method to maintain efficiency and make sure no opportunities are left behind.
We also committed this year to increase our fund by realizing several thematic funds (Bio-Health Fund, Energy Fund, Agri Fund) in collaboration with external parties and other SOEs. By this far, we have secured 6 upcoming funds that come from external and global investor, adding to our 5 existing funds. In total, MDI will reach $ 1 Billion USD of valuation by 2024.
