Valorant Champions Istanbul 2022 is the final leg of the "VALORANT Champions Tour" organized by Riot Games,the producer of the first-person shooter game Valorant.Riot Games announced that the "Champions" tournament,which will determine the champion team in the 2022 Valorant esports calendar,will be played in Istanbul.The Play-Off part of the tournament,which was held between 31 August-18 September 2022,was played between 9-18 September at Volkswagen Arena with spectators.

The year-end final event,where sixteen of the world's best teams will compete to become the Valorant World Champion.The Play-Off part of the tournament,which was held between 31 August-18 September 2022,was played between 9-18 September at Volkswagen Arena with spectators.
A magnificent stage was set up at the Volkswagen Arena for this tournament.In addition to the led screens used around the stage,the entire floor was covered with floor led.The stage,where more than 1000m2 of led screen is used,was specially designed to make the teams feel as if they were in the world of Valorant.The screens used in this size created a unique 3D visual show for those watching the matches on the broadcast–in broadcasts using Augmented Reality technology,the audience had the chance to watch the teams in a special area,in different depths and motion dimensions.
At the end of the tournament,Gatala Tower,one of the iconic structures of Istanbul,was used to announce the winner and the champion team.With a special mapping show on the tower,the champion was declared and this flamboyant tournament was closed.

Valorant Champions Istanbul 2022 has become one of the leading esports events in Turkey and the world,ensuring that esports remains talked about in a way similar to conventional sports.
In addition, it achieved its targets in terms of new access numbers and numerical metrics on the basis of total games and views.
