    Health Focus Manufacturers is a world-class, award-winning Australian contract cosmetic and personal care manufacturer. We manufacture certified organic, natural and synthetic products, including high-end cosmeceuticals, skin care, hair care, body care, pet care and household cleaning products. 

    Unique in the industry, our clients have direct access to our experienced chemists for advice and recommendations on new product development, enabling them to be first to market with these products. Another difference is that we don’t limit ourselves to just large clients. That flexibility has given us greater market share and allowed us to take advantage of the surge of startup skin- and hair-care brands. 

    As an Australian manufacturer, we have a stellar reputation in the global market. We develop Australian-made, sustainable and high-quality products. We represent best practice in manufacturing standards and certification; our certified organic and synthetic products meet the highest global standards, and we are highly certified (GMP ISO 22716, ISO 9001:2015, OFC, ACO/COSMOS).

    • Strong growth. In 2022, as shipping costs increased and materials became harder to source, we grew revenue by 14.3%.

    • Headcount has grown by 44% since 2018, with permanent staff now outweighing casual staff almost two to one - a testament to the sustainability of our growth and our expectations of future growth. 
    • In 2022 we rebranded, including a new logo, website and updated facility to further enhance our world-class manufacturing capabilities. 
    • We generate 22% of our energy via solar at our Clontarf factory, with 108 panels installed on the roof. HFM is 100% carbon neutral, we recycle 100% of our cardboard and unused wooden pallets; disposable gloves/hairnets/beard masks recycled via Terracycle; we’re eliminating microbeads in our current formulations, and we have an Environmental Management Policy. 
    • We support equal opportunity employment, working with the government to help people with disabilities enter the workforce. We invest heavily in staff training. We enrolled all staff in Certificate IV in Competitive Systems and Practices and signed up one of our current staff members as an apprentice Fitter/Machinist.

    2022 has undeniably been the most challenging year, with global raw material shortages and shipping costs creating significant challenges across our supply chain. Supply chain challenges throughout the globe have created lengthy delays and increased raw material prices. Delays in shipping and increased air and sea freight costs also caused substantial bottlenecks. This reveals just how significant our successes have been, despite the challenging environment.

    In dealing with these challenges, we found our unique strategic consultation service and transparent communication were the keys to sustaining our near 100% retention rate. In fact, despite these delays, we still managed to bring on dozens of new clients, many of whom switched from overseas or interstate manufacturers due to poor service and communication. 

    Leveraging the momentum of our exponential growth, we continue to invest in our capabilities and people by expanding our facilities, technologies, education and markets. Looking to the future, we are developing highly bespoke and advanced software to digitally track the entire manufacturing process, from receiving the raw materials to producing the finished goods in line with the GMP ISO 22716 standard. We are also planning a new purpose-built facility to diversify our product offering, expanding into sunscreen and medicated pet products. As such, we are in the process of becoming APVMA and TGA certified.
