    Founded in 1938 with the mission of supporting the entire society, especially tradesmen and SMEs, Halkbank stands out as one of the country's well-established and reputable brands that has grown steadily by pioneering the development of both the banking sector and the national economy in its 85-year history.

    Digitalization, which has gained great momentum with the impact of the pandemic, has become one of the main determinants of competition in banking while changing consumer preferences and behaviors. Halkbank, which has considered continuously improving service quality and customer experience among its strategic goals since the first day of its operations, has included "Digitalization" among the 4 main focus areas of the bank in 2021 and 2022. While implementing a digital transformation plan that will provide convenience and efficiency in all processes of the Bank, the Bank also aims to be a pioneer in Turkey in the field of technology with innovative products and services brought to the sector.

    Digitalization trends have also transformed the expectations and needs of employees. Especially with the development of technology and the pandemic effect, Digital HR Applications have come to the forefront as users have become closer to the use of technology. With this vision, Halkbank HR team launched the "Halka" mobile application that will bring Halkbank employees together with digital technology. 

    Innovative Self-Service HR and Communication Platform: Halka Mobile

    The Halka Mobile Application, which can be accessed by all Halkbank employees on their mobile phones without any time and space constraints, is an inclusive platform where employees can access all communication, news and information sources they may need in one place. 

    Halka Mobile Application can be used with Android and IOS phones via Google Play and App Store. Employees can easily log in to the application with face recognition, fingerprint, line or password options.

    The Halka Mobile Application is not only a self-service HR platform, but also serves as a comprehensive portal where Halkbank employees can access a wide range of information, applications and screens they may need.

    In the Halka Mobile application, employees can access all kinds of news and information about the bank and employees,

    -They can access the trainings defined for them in the Public Academy, 

    -Vcard can create a business card and share it with others via QR code, 

    -Access Human Resources applications such as leave, payroll, personnel credit, health report upload, health information

    -Halkbank internal communication magazine "Beraber (Together)"

    -You can share greeting and celebration messages with Halkbank employees via the greeting module and 

    -They can use the Ring Mobile interface to switch to all the applications they need to use frequently.

    To date, the Halka Mobile Application has reached 17,600 users with approximately 60 modules. With a usage rate of 78% within the Bank, it stands out among similar applications. The satisfaction rate of Halkbank employees with the Halka application is 4.6/5.

    Halkbank Mobile Application also stands out with the fact that it was developed entirely with Halkbank's internal resources and by Halkbank software developers. The fact that it is an internal resource application not only saves costs, but also provides flexibility in updating the application, and the application is continuously developed in line with current needs. Thanks to the Halka Mobile application developed with the Bank's own resources, approximately TL 26 millionwas saved.

    In addition to being a one-way communication platform, Halka Mobile also differs from its peers in that it is a two-way platform where employees can convey their suggestions and opinions and share feedback with many different units such as quality systems and call centers.

    Halka Mobile App also supports gamification-based in-house competitions and activities. With competitions such as Word Hunt, employees working on the Halka Mobile App come together, compete with each other and win small prizes.

    The application's business card creation feature also contributes to paper consumption and efficient resource utilization. For example, 840,000 business cards were printed in 2021. These cards are now produced digitally from Halka Mobil, resulting in significant cost and resource savings.

    -access from everyone's cell phone without the need for another device for the application, 

    -increase internal communication and motivation, contain all information such as internal legislation, announcements and communication that our employees may need; and 

    -makes a difference with its fast access.
