Incorporated in 2019, Greenville focuses on innovation, raising standards in sustainable building and professional development, striving to achieve carbon neutrality with ecofriendly building material and practices, producing innovative, resilient structures. It helps organisations and people innovate and grow, and ultimately save the planet through the use of carbon neutral ecofriendly materials.

The prototype was successfully completed in March 2020, and the full development of the FutureLab pods  commenced since January 2021.  This is the first FutureLab city in the world to be built by repurposed shipping containers, using 5G networks, which are also mobile and truckable to Universities, where graduates and postgraduates can work on developing future STEM problems for our world - building COVID ventilators, designing robots and prototyping 4D printers.

Greenville has been commissioned to build an innovation FutureLab City out of shipping containers.

Our business metrics have shown that :

    1. Our carbon neutral materials have achieved up to 7 star standards of sustainability and have been built to be cyclone-proof

    2. Carbon reduction factor of 78% compared to traditional build. This is encouraging given that building & construction is responsible for 39% of all carbon emissions in the world, with operational emissions (from energy used to heat, cool and light buildings) accounting for 28%. The remaining 11% comes from embodied carbon emissions, or ‘upfront’ carbon that is associated with materials and construction processes throughout the whole building lifecycle. Greenville's vision is to contribute to decarbonise the sector by eliminating both operational and embodied carbon emissions.

    3. Rapid building due to the repurposing shipping containers offsite - reducing the time to build by 70%

4.Reduced cost of build by 50% due to the rapid build offsite process, and the use of smart materials.

    5. Input of IoT into all Greenville FutureLabs for ease of communication and connectivity- using 5G as a network.

    6. Reducing waste by using re-using disposed or abandoned shipping containers.

    7. As a result of Greenville’s growth over the last 24 months, Greenville has doubled its revenue and profit using the same workforce, due to productivity gains and economies of scale.

  5. If you are providing written answers for your submission, you must provide an answer to this third question: Explain why the achievements you have highlighted are unique or significant. If possible compare the achievements to the performance of other players in your industry and/or to the organization's past performance (up to 250 words):
