POETCS is a comprehensive mobile/web application that can be used by government regulatory agencies. It offers a port-of-entry solution, complete with a device-independent POS. POETCS allows agencies to go beyond cash handling and card swipes. It deals with several nuances of ports of entry processes like disallow, seizure and destruction, tax collection, cash management, supervisor audits, financial reporting, etc. all from a mobile point of sale (POS) system that works on existing smartphones, without the need to be tethered to desks.

Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission's Ports of Entry Department employs Gov2Biz's POETCS across 28 Texas-Mexico border crossings and two terminals at the Galveston Seaport to effectively monitor and manage the importation of alcohol into Texas.

The solution's convenience has significantly improved efficiency, leading to over 1,000 containers of illicit alcohol and prevention of illegal importation of crystal methamphetamines. TABC also increased projected revenue from $12M to $14M between 2023 and 2024 on Compliance and Tax collection from the Port of Entry.

Gov2Biz’s port of entry solution with Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission won the Stevie Gold Award for Corporate Social Responsibility Program at the 2024 American Business Awards for boosting regulatory compliance and public safety at Texas-Mexico border crossings.
