Since 2010, FPT IS has officially been licensed to provide public digital signature authentication services in Vietnam. FPT IS has started to research remote signing service (FPT.eSign) since 2018. After restless efforts, in December 2021, the Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has officially granted FPT IS license to provide public digital signature authentication services in the form of remote signature, with the trade name of FPT.eSign. Among more than 20 providers in Vietnam, only 7 have been officially licensed by the MIC for remote signing services, including FPT IS.

Besides, as of June 14, 2023, FPT IS is one of the first two enterprises in Vietnam to be granted timestamp by the MIC, compliant with ISO/IEC 18014-1:2002, ISO/IEC 18014-2:2002, ISO/IEC 18014-3:2009 standards, helping to enhance the security, storage, and legal validity of electronic documents, ensuring data integrity, non-repudiation, and reliable timestamping.
