Founded in 1970, Dubai Courts (DC) is a government entity serving the public in Dubai with a broad range of judicial services. Recognizing its expanding role within the UAE, DC has strategically extended its focus beyond core judicial functions since 2012. This is particularly evident in its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. A conceptual framework for CSR was formulated (Page 2 & 3) aligning with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and local/regional trends. This framework highlights eight key practices:
- Building a healthier future through well-being programs.
- Investing in human capital.

- Building legal knowledge for children.
- Promoting societal access to legal consultations
- Adopting eco-friendly practices.

- Expanding Access to Legal Support: DC launched the pioneering "Shoor" program, offering 800 free legal consultations through collaboration with 95 law firms. (Page-15)
- Leading in Environmental Sustainability: DC is a paperless court, ensures environmentally friendly procurement, and builds new buildings to meet the highest sustainability standards. (Page-16)
- Philanthropic giving: DC demonstrates its commitment to social good through three philanthropic programs (Pages 17-20). Nafaa' Volunteering Team: 103 dedicated employees volunteered in 25 activities, exemplifying their commitment to the community. Be Legal: Empowering residents with legal knowledge, 63 judges participated in 356 activities, raising legal awareness among 5,033 residents. Al Khair Courts: Focused on alleviating financial burdens, this program has resolved 1,320 cases and reached a total value of contributions exceeding 136 billion AED through 25 partnerships.
