We focused on modernizing learning strategies for adapting to global teams and culture. Designing GlobAlive.arkas.com, we used human-centered methodologies, positioning learning tools between employee needs and the company's goals; with emphasis on supporting and developing employees throughout their learning culture.
Swift interpersonal transfer had strategic importance for providing information. Social learning was crucial to the platform. We created a “Newsfeed” environment like social networks. The platform enabled employees to share and comment/like business and development related content (videos/articles) leading to a "learning and sharing organization" culture.
We used hybrid models, ensuring all training content to be accessible 24/7 through desired media (mobile, desktop). All activities like e-learning, virtual classroom are supported by pre/post training activities (video, article, questionnaire, test, etc.).
We shot promotional videos to popularize trainings. Employees joined their managers to assess training needs. We integrated right training with right employee and business goal, offering alternative dates, adhering to the employees' calendars, thus increasing attendance rates.
We promoted posts related to learning behaviors, to encourage participation. Thus, improving community learning culture with badges and scores, with a leadership board display. By year-end, physical awards were given to the leaderboard top 10.

She is responsible for the training and professional development of our employees. İrem analyzes the training needs of employees to make the most of their talents and help them reach their full potential. She leads the team in identifying, planning and operating training programs and contents suitable for the needs of both employees and the organization. In this respect, she has been involved in the process of determining the internal needs prior to the establishment of the training platform and later on, harmonizing the technological infrastructure with these needs. She is responsible for conducting training needs analysis studies, deciding on appropriate training content, preparing content, creating gamification setup, and determining the reports needed. In addition, she also provides support to teaching, blogging and content production.
Tuba Kamburoğlu – Learning & Development Assistant Manager
She carries out training needs analysis studies for the training and professional development of company employees. Tuba works on researching training programs and contents suitable for training needs, following trends, planning and managing sessions. She provides support for the learning and training activities of employees. Together with the technical consultant, she carries out the necessary improvement processes required for the establishment of the platform and to meet the needs of employees. Tuba is responsible from the processes of conducting training needs analysis, investigating the appropriate training content, preparing or ensuring the preparation of the content, supporting the gamification setup and ensuring the production of the required reports. She is also an instructor and a blogger.
Engin Çiçek - Learning & Development Senior Specialist

She provides technological support for establishing and developing the platform, adapting to changing needs and technically implementing innovative ideas. She conducts all research and development activities needed for the platform. Mecal analyzes the effects of technological and social trends on the platform and acts together with the team, to ensure that the platform constantly adapts to changing conditions. She also conducts all related IT operations. She aims to increase the efficiency of learning processes by making use of technological developments.
