| Finalists Announced in 2004 American Business Awards
Providing a powerful testament to the strength of American business as the economy rebounds, companies as diverse as Administaff, Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Memphis Light Gas & Water, Nextel Communications, and Office Depot are among those with multiple finalists vying for Stevie Awards in The Second Annual American Business Awards.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word "crowned," the awards will be presented in two ceremonies on Monday, May 10 at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers in New York City. CNNfn News personalities Rhonda Schaffler and Ali Velshi will host the ceremonies, which will be videocast live on the Internet by Digipict, Webcast in a Box, and Speedera Networks. The ceremonies will also be broadcast on radio by the BusinessTalk Radio Network. Tickets for the awards dinner and ceremonies are now on sale.
More than 800 nominations from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Most Innovative Company, Best Marketing Executive, Best New Product or Service, and Best TV Ad Campaign. Four Honorary Stevie Awards to Be Conferred May 10
Gearing up for the business world's biggest night of the year, The American Business Awards have announced that General Growth Properties, NES Rentals, O'Neal Steel, and Ruth's Chris Steak House will be the recipients of 2004 honorary Stevie Awards on May 10.
Honorary Stevie Award recipients are chosen by select American Business Awards sponsors. This year's participating sponsors are Miller Heiman, a global leader in building exceptional sales organizations, and Ultimate Software, a leader in delivering Web-based payroll and employee-management solutions to organizations of all sizes.

Coca-Cola Selected as Most Admired Multinational Company
March's Stevie Awards Survey question was, "Which multinational company do you most admire?" Of the choices offered, Coca-Cola was tops with 12.1%, followed by Toyota Motor with 11.6%.
Several companies made strong write-in showings, including Alcan, Monsanto, Nextel, PACCAR, and Siemens. Survey results included:

Both awards ceremonies will be broadcast live:
The 5:00 - 6:45 pm ceremony for advertising, web sites, interactive multimedia, corporate film and video, corporate literature, and business theatre productions
The 9:00 - 11:00 pm ceremony for all other categories, including Best Overall Company and Best Executive
