ADPG has witnessed unprecedented growth and success since it was established in May 2006. As a Group, we are managing a diverse portfolio of Ports, Industrial Zones, Maritime, Logistics and Digital clusters.

ADPG is governed by a board of directors who are committed to driving financially sound and socially and environmentally responsible operations. Their commitment has established ADPG as a leading corporate in the region demonstrating strong, sustainable and responsible growth.

Our Energy and GHG Management framework is underpinned by improving efficiency, embracing innovation and integrating renewable energy across our value chain. At ADPG, we are committed to the responsibility we shoulder toward mitigating climate change. We have a robust energy management system that continuously monitors our energy consumption and seeks to reduce our energy intensity and dependence on fossil fuels.

    • 12% decrease in electricity consumption intensity for container terminals
    • 17% decrease in GHG emissions in intensity for bulk cargo volume at Zayed Port
    • 10.5% decrease in fuel consumption per TEU

The environmental protection and biodiversity initiatives ensure that we safeguard environmentally sensitive and vulnerable species from any harm as a result of our marine, ports and industrial developments. ADPG undertook an initiative to relocate healthy dense coral from the development footprint of Khalifa Port to protect these corals from future development in this area.

This initiative resulted in a successful campaign of relocating over 500 healthy dense corals away from the development footprint and preventing the impact that would have been caused by construction activities.
