Launches Call for Nominations for 2nd Annual International Stevies
New York, NY – October 5, 2004 – The 2005 International Business Awards marked the launch of its second annual “Call for Nominations” today with the debut of several new categories, including Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program.
The International Business Awards www.stevieawards.com/iba/ is the first worldwide, all-encompassing business awards program. Recognizing great performances in the workplace, The International Business Awards boast dozens of categories ranging from Best Overall Company to Best Executive and Best Human Resources Executive.
Other new categories announced include Best Customer Service Executive and Best MIS & Systems Executive, Best MIS & Systems Team, and Best MIS & Systems Organization.
Nomination forms for The Second Annual International Business Awards can be downloaded from www.stevieawards.com/iba. The deadline for submission of nominations is February 25, 2005. Winners will be honored at an internationally broadcast ceremony in New York City in May 2005.
Companies all over the world are eligible to compete in The International Business Awards, including American companies that generate at least 10% of their sales internationally.
More than 500 nominations from organizations in 30 countries were submitted for consideration for The First Annual International Business Awards. 2004 International Stevies were conferred to organizations and individuals in 19 countries including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, Germany, India, South Korea, Norway, Peru, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the U.S.A.
