2013 was a year of incredible growth for Adconion Direct. Senior Vice President, Amanda Currie, led the way overseeing strategic partnerships, business development and marketing efforts of Adconion Direct’s global cross channel, cross-device platforms. Currently, Adconion Direct provides digital advertising solutions for over 2,000 advertisers and agencies globally who have spent more than $1 billion dollars in media spend has run across the proprietary cross channel platform. The team welcomed 70 best-in-breed new hires, including seasoned industry experts from Target Corporation, WPP Global Team Ford, and Yahoo! to spearhead new company initiatives and launched offices in Boston and Detroit.
Over the last 12 months, Amanda was named a Stevie Awards for Women silver medalist for Female Executive of the Year, as well as a San Diego Magazine “Women Who Move the City” nominee. Adconion Direct was ranked as a “Top 250 Global Private Technology Company” by AlwaysOn, a “Best Place to Work” in San Diego, Los Angeles and New York, and received a Stevies’ “National Management Team of the Year Award” medal.
Amanda believes investing in her employees’ success and happiness cultivates a fervent culture that drives innovation and the willingness to take on opportunity. As such, she has integrated employee well-being into the framework of Adconion Direct’s business strategy. Amanda’s passion for culture led the company to participate the 2013 “Return on Values” study which is a three year project that explores the link between culture and profit from the Center of Values Driven Leadership in partnership with Inc. Magazine.
Amanda spearheads numerous company practices that nurture innovation and leadership such as goal-setting, referred to as Rocks – setting three Quarterly Goals taken from the Rockefeller Habits, as well as embracing Gallup’s StrengthsFinder and strengths based leadership. Adconion Direct’s new hire program also goes above and beyond to integrate new hires into the culture and the company business model from the onset by pairing new hires with experienced employees. The “Adconion Academy” offers all employees cross training within the first 90 days, as well as workshops ranging from Excel and Power Point tutorials to time management and effective pitching techniques.
This year, Amanda implemented new initiatives such as “CRUSH Talks”, the Adconion Direct version of “TED Talks”, and the Adconion Direct Ambassador Program to recognize outstanding employees who consistently go above and beyond for the company and their peers by demonstrating continuous outstanding performance as recognized by the leadership team.
Additionally, Amanda strongly believes in “Conscious Capitalism” and business being able to make the world better through purpose and values. Each quarter, the company volunteers at a local organization. The company has partnered with Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, Father Joe’s Villages, Feeding America San Diego and LA Regional Food Bank. To date, the company has volunteered over 6,000 hours and sorted and packaged over 65,000 pounds of food – or 92,000 meals – to help those in need.

Amanda is responsible for leading management, strategic partnerships and business development for the company which has 600 employees worldwide and has generated more than $1 billion dollars in media spend across Adconion Direct’s unified platform. As a 13-year veteran of the advertising and technology industries, and throughout her tenure at Adconion Direct, Amanda has proven herself a dynamic business leader consistently yielding positive results.
Prior to Adconion Direct, Amanda was Vice President and co-founder of Frontline Direct, a leading performance marketing firm, which was acquired by Adconion Media Group in 2008. Amanda graduated Cum Laude from Pepperdine University .
