AT&T Dynamic Defense has been privileged and proud to be recognized by the cybersecurity industry, including by Cybersecurity Excellence (both in 2024 and 2025), Cybersecurity Breakthrough (in 2024), Top Infosec Innovator (in 2024), TMCnet Cybersecurity Excellence (in 2024) and Globee’s Cybersecurity (in 2025).
We have seen success with our customers in helping to protect their networks against potential threats, though for many customers they come to AT&T Dynamic Defense when they are experiencing an attack. We have had numerous customers ask for assistance during a cyberattack. We have been able to enable Dynamic Defense within minutes and begin mitigating the attack and protecting their network and their business.
For example, a manufacturer was experiencing an issue as a result of an identified Cisco ASA vulnerability. Due to their network configuration, there was no known solution to help patch the vulnerability. They decided to implement Dynamic Defense and began curating their list of blocked IPS and implementing geo blocks. In the month following implementation, Dynamic Defense blocked over 334k threats from these IPs that were causing several user lockouts from brute force attacks.
Another example would be a regional bank that over a course of 5-days had over 2,000 user lockouts from brute force attacks. They stated that at the peak they were getting 500 attempts per minute. This causes users not to be able to access their work but more importantly prevents the IT staff from having access to their systems to be able to remediate the issue. They have to time it perfectly in order to gain access before the next account lockout. The attack started over the weekend when the malicious actors expected the customer to not respond, AT&T stepped in and enabled Dynamic Defense and was able to immediately begin to mitigate these attacks.
