    Tobias Bulla, Director of Engineering for Brand Commerce, boasts a distinguished career as a leader in Condé Nast Technology. Starting as a tech lead for various German agencies and startups, he specialized in content management, aggregation, distribution, and e-commerce platform development. Serving as the lead of engineering in CN Germany since 2015, Tobias successfully conceptualized and implemented a new website infrastructure. This innovative system, featuring a modular and flexible CMS, marked a significant shift away from previously complex and rigid systems to an evolved system that’s adaptable and cost-efficient. His leadership style, marked by a deep understanding of cultural differences within a global company, is instrumental in shaping proactive and responsible teams.

Under his leadership, GQ Man of the Year experienced a 185% increase in hub page traffic, a 210% rise in time spent, and a 52% boost in search traffic YoY. Allure’s Best of Beauty saw an 888% increase in time spent, a 607% rise in affiliate link clicks YoY, and a boost in click-through rate (CTR) from 0.30% to 1.15%. Furthermore, the launch of Architectural Digest and Condé Nast Traveler in the Middle East created a new market line, establishing a replicable model for expanding brands into new markets.
