Genesis
USANA Health Sciences’ Americas and Europe Convention takes place in Salt Lake City each August, attracting thousands of home-based business owners from around the world to be the first to hear about new products, take part in training sessions, and listen to world-class health and business experts. The goal of USANA's Convention is to reward and re-energize associates with a fun and educational weekend full of events, celebrities and motivational speakers. While Conventions in the past relied heavily on the intimacy of an in-person event, COVID-19 threw a wrench in the plans and forced USANA to call an audible, for two years in a row.
Goals
The main goal of USANA’s AEVC 2021 was to create something that was memorable. AEVC was filled with amazing workshops, Q&A sessions, and amazing guest speakers.
The AEVC 2021 special guests:
- Keynote and Q&A with bestselling author, podcast host, former monk, and purpose coach – Jay Shetty
- Keynote and Q&A with Founder and CEO, Life Without Limbs – Nick Vujicic
- Q&A with world renown cardiothoracic surgeon and host of The Doctor Oz Show – Dr. Mehmet Oz, with entrepreneur and motivational speaker – Barbara Corcoran
- Athlete Center with 6-time Olympic medalist and champion swimmer – Matt Grevers. Featuring: U.S. Paralympic Swimmer, Jessica Long, U.S. Paralympic Track and Field, Nick Mayhugh, and 2X Olympic Medalist and Clarkson Cup Champion, Natalie Spooner
Development
This was the second year that USANA hosted this event. They were able to look over the event last year and make some changes to create a better experience for its viewers.
This year USANA created a redesigned and improved event virtual platform, which created an overall better user experience for the attendees because they eliminated minimal searching and clicking was needed due to the following improvements:
- Updated home page
- Added dynamic headers to home
- Included a platform tutorial video on home page
- Improved workshop video selection
- Incorporated donation tracker on home page

A few other things that USANA announced were:
- US launch of Advanced Collagen
- Daily Burn partnership
- Corporate Responsibility Initiative, Diversity Equity Inclusion Counsel, & sustainability efforts
- Garden Towers
USANA also teased their Collagen Built Bar that was to be launched later in the year.
USANA customers and Associates were thrilled with the launches and announcements, and it got them more excited to build their businesses for the years to come. USANA strives to create the best products on the market and continually researches and creates new products each and every year.
