Hailed as "the business world's own Oscars" by the New York Post (September 22, 2002), this first Stevie Awards competition is the first national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace in the U.S.A.. The 2004 entry deadline has passed. Finalists were announced on Wednesday, April 14, and Stevie winners will be announced in New York on Monday, May 10 (note the date change) during a nationally-broadcast awards dinner that will benefit LEAD.

All companies around the world, of every size, in every industry, are eligible to compete in dozens of categories, from Best Multinational Company to Best Executive, in The International Business Awards. 2004 International Stevie Award winners have been announced. The awards were presented in New York on Monday, March 22, 2004, during a dinner that benefitted the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS. The 2005 entry deadline will be in December 2004.
