In January of 2019, Clint Salter as the CEO of the Dance Studio Owners Association (DSOA) launched the world’s first Dance Studio Growth Curriculum, empowering dance studios globally to take a strategic approach to their marketing and acquisition throughout a 12-week online course. Shortly afterwards, Clint Salter’s ‘Growth’ curriculum was followed up by the launch of his signature Finance and Project Management course, titled Dance Studio Freedom which shared a CEO approach to running a profitable dance studio, and moving students from a ‘hobby business’ towards a million dollar empire. Both of these courses have taken strategies and ideologies of top-performing businesses and made them applicable to the dance industry. For dance studios involved, this has resulted in increased jobs, economic turnover, productivity and contribution to the arts. More than 25 businesses who have participated in these courses have reported revenue increase of over 20% in just 12 months.

Following the launch of the Growth and Freedom Curriculum, In August 2019, Clint Salter created another world-first in New York City - the only in-person three-day event for dance studio owners and their teams where he brought together the world’s most renowned dance studio growth coaches to create a massive shift in the productivity and impact of the dance industry. Over 300 Dance Studio Owners were in attendance at this high-calibre event which coincided with the release of Clint Salter’s second Amazon Best-selling book, Dance Studio Secrets was released in August 2019, featuring interviews and insights from successful dance studios from all over the world.

Furthermore, In the wake of the initial announcements of closures and lockdowns in March 2020, Clint Salter hosted the 90-minute Studio Rise Workshop, which laid out clearly the initial steps our Studio Owners should take to protect their businesses.

As dance studio owners started to get their footing in their virtual studio, focus shifted to help them prevent the loss of their brick and mortar business, which is why Clint Salter and the DSOA created the Dance Studio Rescue Summit in April 2020. This training enlisted the help of 11 industry-leading guest speakers and picked their brains about how to survive this crisis and even thrive when it’s all over. The Summit was hosted for 8 hours straight with over 2,000 Studios in attendance.
