Our largest following is for the free courses. Our main expense for these is to cover the costs of creating those courses. We have expanded an online reading ambassador program where athletes read stories to students online due to expanding our partnership with 2nd and 7 Foundation. We opened up our Student Groups to International Students this year as well. This has proven to be very successful. We require Zoom, website fees, security for site, Google and Google Classroom to build our courses. We do have a grant to use the Google products, so our expenses include the other costs listed above. NHEG staff, education department/teacher/tutor uses Zoom to tutor and create pre-recorded courses. We do have a rule in place that all teachers must create pre-recorded courses during downtime or when they don’t have a student. We currently have 15 active tutors/teachers as well as four partners (private instructors). Many of our partners offer discounted and free online courses through our site. This year we have created many new and free courses including a Chinese and Music Course, and low cost courses including a Chemistry course. Everyone that works with NHEG is a volunteer and works hard to create real change and bring resources and educational opportunities to all individuals.

Our History:

Award winning organization New Heights Educational Group (NHEG) was formed in 2006 by Mrs. Pamela Clark. Mrs. Clark discovered that families needed to cooperate especially in educating children with learning difficulties such as ADHD, Bi-Polar disorder, Autism and Neurological Disorders. We have served over 351,077 via online services and courses.

Mrs. Clark leads a team of 91 volunteers that researches advancements, provides training to teachers for different learning styles. NHEG provides fill-in-the-gap tutoring which is necessary to reach students that have been left behind. NHEG offers classes, has an educational magazine viewed over 75,000 times and comic book. We have published two books; one "Unraveling Reading" is the first of the “Unraveling Series” the series assists parents, teachers, and tutors in how to help children learn. We will offer a book for each subject. One of our volunteers wrote a book for publication titled “One Nonprofit’s Journey to Success,” which was released worldwide in March of 2015 and tells our story.
