Stevie® Award Winners to Be Honored June 11 in New York City

New York, NY – May 14, 2007 – Companies as diverse as Accenture, Careerbuilder.com, Cleveland Clinic, LifeLock, and Nuveen Investments are among those with multiple Finalists vying for Stevie Awards in The 5th Annual American Business Awards.  Complete lists of Finalists in all categories were published today at www.stevieawards.com/aba. 

The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business. 

Nicknamed Stevie for the Greek word “crowned,” the coveted award was designed by the same company that makes the Emmy, Clio, and other major awards.  Stevie winners will be announced during a gala at New York’s Marriott Marquis Hotel on Monday, June 11. Larry Wilmore of THE DAILY SHOW with JON STEWART will be master of ceremonies.   Tickets are on sale now.

More than 2,000 nominations were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Best Overall Company, Best Executive, Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program, and Best New Product or Service.
 
Finalists were selected by business professionals nationwide during more than five weeks of preliminary judging.  Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie winners from among the Finalists.
