Briefly describe this nomination’s communications objectives and how it met those objectives (up to 100 words):

The challenge, to recreate the vistas of Everest in a convention ballroom.  The
solution, to use high-definition footage recently shoot by National Geographic to
visually take the audience where few in the world have gone.  Our contribution was
to transform a multi-image show into total immersion, creating seamless,
widescreen vistas with no degradation to the stunning visuals. The video
celebrates Hillary's achievement and reconnects you to your own aspirations by
creating a surge of emotion that lofts you to the Rooftop of the World. Edited in
Final Cut Pro and then rendered in after effects, the video was projected onto 6
screens creating a 220-foot panoramic screen.  Linking two Montage video
processors and five digital disk recorders, we attained a high point in both
technology and
showmanship.
