Ransomware attacks are increasing rapidly. Last year, the US suffered 65,000 of them—over seven an hour—and a whopping 98% of US executives have come across at least one cybersecurity event over the past year. Now, hackers have grown especially aware of the fact that connected real-world operations (including oil pipelines, water systems, shipping and logistics, and utility grids) are vulnerable due to their widely distributed assets and a mix of legacy and modern equipment. This presents an immense threat to critical infrastructure nationwide.

Xage is uniquely equipped to protect these difficult-to-secure operations. It was the first company to make  zero trust (widely regarded as a security best practice) possible in operational environments, and, in March 2021, it introduced a new solution that would make these capabilities even more accessible.

Xage’s Cloud-Delivered Zero Trust Remote Access (ZTRA) gives critical operations the means to quickly protect all of their assets from growing cyber threats. Built on top of the Xage Fabric—a mesh of software nodes that imposes granular control over an entire operation—Cloud-Delivered ZTRA replaces outdated solutions such as VPNs, open firewall ports, jump boxes, and vulnerable desktop access protocols like RDP. Instead, it offers an identity and access management (IAM) solution with distributed security enforcement that prevents cyberattacks. In the event that there is an attack, it would be isolated—unable to pass from system to system in IT and operations—ensuring that operations continue functioning undisturbed.

Accessible from anywhere via a web browser, Cloud-Delivered ZTRA requires no changes to a company’s existing infrastructure (no “ripping and replacing”). As such, deployment is easy and efficient—a necessity in an industry where 64% of IT professionals say their security measures have not fully kept up with their IT complexity.

Cyberattackers are beginning to target the operations keeping society functioning—and when they are successful, the ramifications are tangible and immediately devastating. Xage’s Cloud-Delivered ZTRA makes it possible for distributed, real-world operations to seamlessly adopt a remote zero trust architecture and cyber-harden the environments that are critical to public safety.

  5. If you are providing written answers for your submission, you must provide an answer to this third question: Outline the market performance, critical reception, and customer satisfaction with the product or service to date. State monetary or unit sales figures to date, if possible, and how they compare to expectations or past performance. Provide links to laudatory product or service reviews. Include some customer testimonials, if applicable (up to 350 words):

    Total 188 words used.

To this point, existing identity and access management offerings for critical infrastructure companies have been severely lacking. Traditional perimeter- and zone-based strategies simply cannot adequately protect these operations from ransomware—it is open season for the hacker once they get inside the perimeter/zone—so Xage ZTRA fills a necessary gap, protecting thousands of connected assets and digital applications spanning operations, IT, and the cloud.

Xage has experienced record-breaking growth this year: customers have doubled since June 2020; partners have increased by 400%; revenues doubled from 2019 to 2020; and 2021 revenue is forecasted to be triple 2020’s. In addition, Xage is seeing over 100% growth quarter-over-quarter on the number of new customers.

    Customer Testimonials

“With Xage capabilities hosted in the cloud and accessible via secure web browser, adjusting security policies for third party partners, customers or employees takes minutes, rather than weeks, and I can trust that they’ll remain enforced consistently – remote and on-site, across the entire operation.” -Amadou Diaw, Director of Digital Transformation at Dematic

“Xage is clearly different from some of our existing offerings. Excellent solution for secure remote access.” -Customer contact at Kendall Electric
