Wolters Kluwer, a global leader in information services and solutions for the finance, health, tax and accounting, risk and compliance, and legal sectors, acquired Tagetik in 2017. As part of Wolters Kluwer Corporate Performance & ESG division, the software business unit - renamed CCH Tagetik – continues delivering innovative solutions for the Office of the CFO.
Lucca, Italy, is a walled Renaissance-era city and the birthplace of the CCH Tagetik software. In September 2022, CCH® Tagetik inTouch Global User Conference, launched CCH Tagetik ESG & Sustainability Performance Management, a software solution for corporations who need to comply with Environmental, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) reporting requirements, supporting CFOs with the data intelligence to achieve sustainable growth. We used the launch to implement ESG practices on the ground while simultaneously showcasing the software.
Our Keynote speaker, Karthik Ramanna, an expert in sustainable capitalism and a Business & Public Policy professor at the University of Oxford, addressed attendees on the role finance leaders play in leveraging ESG and sustainability goals and reporting as a competitive advantage.
The planning team was tasked with aligning Wolters Kluwer sustainability goals with its business goals, while delivering a modern event with minimal impact on historic buildings and the environment. We achieved this by embracing the history of this ancient walled city while being mindful and respectful of the theme of sustainability. Every decision made about the conference supported this theme, resulting in the following actions.
