PracticePerfect is a new visually engaging, interactive study aid designed to help law students understand core topics and test their ability to recall and correctly apply the law.

The Video Library gives students access to animated videos with diverse characters covering all course topics that they can watch in “interactive mode” to keep them engaged with hypothetical questions they are prompted to answer throughout.

The Quiz Center features a comprehensive selection of multiple-choice quizzes that align with each video. Students can also build personalized quizzes by topic or take summative quizzes that interleave topics to help them prepare for exams. Rationales are provided that explain why each option is correct or incorrect.

The Confidence Dashboard shows students’ scores by topic and subtopic, provides a personalized recommendation of which quiz to take next, and features a Confidence Level that indicates their overall understanding of the course material. The dashboard incorporates a time element to let students know when it may be time to retest and refresh their memory.

PracticePerfect incorporates many elements of learning science, including practicing recall, spaced repetition, interleaving, feedback, and multiple contexts/modalities for richer memory encoding. It is delivered through an easy-to-use, responsive interface on the cloud-based CasebookConnect platform, where students can access their other essential digital learning tools for law school from any device.
