A global supply chain and operations executive, Jennifer McKeehan has more than 15 years of experience across supply chain, operations, merchandising and e-commerce, including senior leadership roles at Walmart, The Home Depot and Peloton Interactive, Inc.

McKeehan is an innovative thinker known for developing high-performing teams, taking on challenging roles and driving department and company-wide transformation. McKeehan joined Walmart in August 2022 to lead Walmart’s end-to-end delivery organization, where she is responsible for global transportation (spanning ocean, domestic and the final mile), ensuring the seamless flow of merchandise through Walmart’s value chain to consumers.

Under McKeehan’s leadership, Walmart completed more than 248 million last mile deliveries to customers from more than 3,990 stores and the business has seen strong pickup and delivery success. In the past two years, store-fulfilled delivery sales have nearly tripled and Walmart is doing $1 billion a month. Additionally, the company has continued to expand customer delivery. The Spark Driver platform, Walmart’s largest local delivery service provider, expanded its network of drivers 3x in the past fiscal year.

McKeehan oversaw the team responsible for expanding and creating new opportunities for Walmart’s Private Fleet. The recent expansion of the Walmart Associate-to-Driver program offers associates at participating stores, supply chain and transportation facilities the opportunity to complete a 12-week training course, earn their CDL and become a coveted Walmart driver. Associates who complete the program have an opportunity to earn up to $110,000 in their first year. She regularly visits Walmart stores and distribution and fulfillment centers across the country to meet with associates, understand their perspective and highlight their stories.

In addition to enhancing how Walmart reaches customers with delivery, McKeehan is focused on accelerating areas of the Walmart business like Walmart GoLocal to connect other retailers to reliable delivery solutions. During McKeehan’s tenure, Walmart GoLocal reached a notable milestone: enabling more than 3.5 million deliveries for Walmart GoLocal clients. McKeehan plays an important role in guiding the strategic direction of these efforts as Walmart seeks to diversify its revenue streams.

McKeehan is responsible for integrating sustainability into Walmart’s supply chain, as a part of the company’s commitment to being a zero emissions company by 2040. She advocates for creating innovative delivery solutions for customers such as drones and autonomous and electric vehicles.

At Peloton, she was responsible for the full operational strategy, from manufacturing to final mile. Prior to her role at Peloton, McKeehan served as vice president of supply chain at The Home Depot, leading inventory planning and replenishment for all fulfillment channels across stores and online, managing more than $15 billion in inventory.

As a female leader in a male-dominated industry, McKeehan is a tireless advocate for the advancement of women and diversity in transportation. She is committed to elevating women into leadership positions and serves as a member of the Advisory Board for AWESOME (Achieving Women's Excellence in Supply Chain Operations, Management, and Education) to advance women’s leadership across supply chain and mentor fellow colleagues. Walmart was recognized as one of the best places to work for women by the Women in Trucking Association in fall 2022.

McKeehan’s accolades include Atlanta's 40 Under 40 (2020), Cobb Life 20 Under 40 (2020), Atlanta Woman of Distinction (2019) and Rising Star by March of Dimes (2019). She has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, invited to speak at Harvard Business School, and is a member of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2020. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Community Food Bank and as membership committee chair for the Emerging Leaders Committee for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

McKeehan once said, “Leave a legacy — it will be a force-multiplier to the individual accomplishments of this incredible and inspiring group!” And that’s just what she has done.

  4. In bullet-list form, provide a brief summary of up to ten (10) of the chief accomplishments of the nominee(s) since January 1 2021. This is required whether you are submitting a video or an essay:

    1.     Although her professional achievements are many, McKeehan considers her proudest accomplishment being a mom. When she’s not working, McKeehan loves spending time with her husband, a firefighter, and their four children.

    2.     McKeehan and her team worked tirelessly to strengthen and prepare Walmart’s supply chain network and inventory position for the 2022 holiday season.

    3.     Walmart completed 248 million last-mile deliveries from more than 3,990 stores in FY23.

    4.     Under her leadership, Walmart GoLocal continued its expansion to serve clients across more than 10,000 pickup points and retail locations, in addition to surpassing the 3.5 million delivery milestone in FY23.

    5.     McKeehan spearheaded the expansion of Walmart’s Associate-to-Driver program. As of January 2023, associates at participating stores, distribution centers, fulfillment centers and transportation offices can complete a 12-week training course, earn their CDL and a coveted Walmart driver job, earning up to $110,000 their first year.

    6.     She oversaw the implementation of NTransit, a proprietary mobile software application built to provide fleet drivers with a world-class, frictionless experience in the cabs of their trucks. This helps minimize excess time spent at locations and enables drivers to efficiently move through their workday.

    7.     Under McKeehan’s leadership, Walmart Private Fleet drivers accomplished more than 1 billion safe miles driven in FY23 (the equivalent of driving around the earth 40,000 times).

    8.     Based on backhaul revenue alone, Walmart’s private fleet is one of the top 40 trucking firms.

    9.     The Spark Driver platform grew to become Walmart’s largest local delivery service provider with the ability to reach 84% of U.S. households. The Spark Driver platform network of drivers grew 3X in FY23.

    10.  In the last year alone, Walmart had 3,165 miles of ocean containers that were filled (to give a visual --that’s enough containers to span the US from Los Angeles, California to Bangor, Maine).
