To showcase client Bacardi's newest white rum, Gran Reserva Maestro de Ron, unveil new packaging of the Gold, Ocho and Superior Rums and the revamp of Bacardi Black at the 29th Annual Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas, TEAM developed a trade show booth in the spirit of old Havana, Cuba.
To bring Old Havana to the trade show floor of the industry’s top bar, nightclub, beverage and hospitality event, a custom-made 20x40 booth was constructed to resemble the famous “El Floridita” of 1950’s Cuba. When visitors stepped into the booth, (which a replica of the famous Bacardi El Coco palm tree sprouted from the top of) their journey back in time began.
Guest were educated on Bacardi’s rich tradition, heritage, and quality Rum products as they walked through the booth’s engagement experience. They were greeted and served by bartenders and brand ambassadors who wore authentic costumes, styled to look like vintage waitstaff uniforms. Visitors enjoyed daiquiris, cuba libres, and Maestro Collins, among other artfully crafted cocktails, while they socialized and networked to traditional Latin music. Over the 3 day event, we calculated a total reach of 4,255 consumers, 19,584 classic cocktails were served, 566 images were taken (90 of which were shared on social media), 514 email address leads were captured, and 1,048 active impressions were gained.
The booth was voted “Best Booth” by Pubclub.com, and recognized by the tradeshow itself on social media as one of their favorites.
