    In 2021, Dominic Gallello, CEO of Symphony Industrial AI transformed the company focused on niche market of machine condition monitoring using vibration data to a global leader in software-based Industry 4.0 Smart Manufacturing through internal AI technology development as well as acquisitions of complementary technology.  The result - headcount doubled and revenue tripled.

    The term Industry 4.0 was introduced in 2011. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is the trend towards automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies and processes which include cyber-physical systems (CPS), IoT, industrial internet of things, cloud computing, cognitive computing, and artificial intelligence. The Fourth Industrial Revolution marks the beginning of the Imagination Age.

    Still, the promise of Industry 4.0 has not been fulfilled.  In 2021, Mr. Gallello lead Symphony Industrial AI in 3 main areas to provide an award-winning Industry 4.0 solution set to its users:

    • Delivered an internally developed a Manufacturing Eureka AI platform that provides for machine health and process optimization for discrete and process industries. He rapidly expanded the development team of mechanical, chemical, electrical and data science engineers from 10 to ~50
    • Acquired the Savigent Digital Manufacturing Platform which provides deep and broad Internet of Things (IOT) integration and workflow orchestration to connect machines, processes, people and applications.
    • Acquired Proceedix connected frontline worker (CFW) solutio).  A platform to create and manage digital inspections and instructions. Users can easily build and deploy a myriad of workflows from operations to inspection to maintenance procedures which are delivered through tablets and glasses.
