SmartFlyer is a luxury travel agency that, since inception, has advanced the industry through its innovative approach to making wanderlust a reality. For seven years, SmartFlyer has hosted its annual summit known as CORE, which unites its talented group of advisors and partners in the spirit of knowledge, growth and community. CORE celebrates SmartFlyer’s defining pillars – Collaboration, Originality, Relationships and Education and has seen a 244% attendance increase since it launched in 2017, with a 22% increase from 2023 to 2024. For the first time, SmartFlyer brought CORE overseas to London in 2024. The January 17-21 event was attended by 250 of the industry’s brightest minds, including 160 SmartFlyer advisors and 90 partners across 64 brands including stakeholders from Four Seasons, Rosewood Hotels and Dorchester Collection, among others. Sessions were spread across three exclusive London properties, The Berkeley, The Peninsula London, and The Dorchester, encouraging guests to explore. CORE prioritizes collaboration with local brands, artisans and small businesses and local exploration to celebrate the stories of and immerse in London. This year’s delegates were given SmartFlyer’s “Insider’s Guide to London,” presented by tastemaker Kelly Eastwood of “The London Chatter,” to support itinerary curation with over 30 tours held in conjunction with local partners. Options included the iconic The House of Parliament and the Churchill War Room in addition to some of London’s fashion houses. SmartFlyer’s passion for innovation and commitment to shared knowledge shined through three days of inspired activations, bespoke experiences and master classes. In addition to peer-facilitated advisor roundtable discussions, SmartFlyer activated express site inspections across 30 London properties for its 160 advisors. 30+ dinner experiences were activated at London’s most sought-after culinary destinations including Maison Estelle, London’s exclusive private members club; Pavyllon London, led by Michelin-starred Chef Yannick Alléno and an exclusive experience at the Chef’s Table at The Dorchester. An intimate dinner for SmartFlyer ONE, SmartFlyer’s most elite producers, was held at Annabel’s, one of London’s most intimate social clubs. Master classes supported CORE’s education pillar with sessions led by experts touching on prominent topics with in the industry including Generative AI and how SmartFlyer and other travel advisors can maximize its capabilities for planning; a science-based session on wellbeing for working mothers and a session dedicated to social content creation and capitalizing on Instagram’s functions to scale accounts and expand reach. On the final day of CORE, the group joined SmartFlyer's annual 365 presentation given by Erina Pindar, the agency’s managing partner and COO, showcasing the industry-leading production of SmartFlyer’s advisors. The morning concluded with a thought-provoking conversation with Juliet Kinsman that touched on the luxury travel industry’s potential for positive impact on sustainability and a keynote from Olympic champion and British Icon Dame Kelly Holmes, who shared the story behind her celebrated career and overcoming obstacles to turn dreams into reality. CORE raises the standard for networking events through blending exploration with education and adding elements of immersion and collaboration to invigorate modern networking.
