The Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 is the industry’s leading Wi-Fi 7, premium Wi-Fi 6/6E, and advanced Bluetooth audio platform that is packed together in a powerful and versatile connectivity system to unlock extreme performance for mobile, compute, and XR experiences. FastConnect 7800 features an advanced 14nm Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® Connectivity system, delivering ultra-high speeds (up to 5.8 Gbps), sustained low latency (2 ms), and premium Bluetooth audio capabilities.

While maintaining compliance with the latest Wi-Fi 6/6E and Wi-Fi 7 standards, FastConnect 7800 is packed with sophisticated innovation that goes beyond standard benchmarks. High Band Simultaneous Multi-Link Wi-Fi technology uniquely harnesses the potential of 5 and 6GHz bands for multiple links of high band performance for throughput hungry and latency sensitive applications, eliminating dependence on comparatively narrow and congested 2.4GHz band.

FastConnect 7800 also supercharges Snapdragon Sound™ Technology, Bluetooth LE Audio, and Bluetooth 5.3 with next-generation Dual Bluetooth – two radios with dedicated connections, enable Bluetooth accessories to work at twice the range, to pair in half the time, and makes changing a Bluetooth connection from smartphone to PC, or earbuds to an automobile’s hand-free system instant and effortless.

  5. If you are providing written answers for your submission, you must provide an answer to this third question: Outline the market performance, critical reception, and customer satisfaction with the product or service to date. State monetary or unit sales figures to date, if possible, and how they compare to expectations or past performance. Provide links to laudatory product or service reviews. As Wi-Fi 7 is still an emerging wireless standard with the Wi-Fi Alliance, Qualcomm is leading the charge with a full System-on-Chip (SoC) solution that brings a combination of Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, along with advanced Bluetooth features, into a single module and radio solution typically found in various consumer devices. Utilizing High Band Simultaneous (HBS) Multi-Link technology, FastConnect 7800 drives dual radios with four links across the 5GHz (240Mhz channel) and 6GHz (320Mhz channel) spectrums, topping out at 4.3Gbps or 5.8Gpbs aggregate throughput, respectively, and freeing up precious 2.4Ghz spectrum bandwidth for other Bluetooth and IoT devices.

With regards to critical reception, various media have praised Qualcomm’s ability to produce a Wi-Fi 7 solution that is readily available to ship. Jackson Chen in Input Mag specifically note how, “Qualcomm is trying to get ahead of the competition — hence the announcement of its FastConnect 7800 chips that are expected to be the first Wi-Fi 7 solutions to ship in commercial products…“While others are still in the lab trying to figure things out, Qualcomm is announcing and delivering a commercial solution that people can take advantage of immediately,” Qualcomm’s Dino Bekis, told Input.”

Next-gen Dual Bluetooth delivers two concurrent audio streams, massively improving the delivery of Snapdragon Sound, LE Audio & Bluetooth 5.3 to audio devices. Roam with twice the range, connect in half the time, and listen longer with 30-50% power savings.

  6. You have the option to answer this final question: Reference any attachments of supporting materials throughout this nomination and how they provide evidence of the claims you have made in this nomination (up to 250 words):
