Professional Staffing Group (PSG) is the leading temporary and permanent
employment agency serving Eastern Massachusetts.  PSG fills creative, office
support, technical and financial positions for its clients, who are primarily medium-
to large-sized Boston-area businesses. 

To differentiate the company, PSG launched an innovative Guaranteed Work
Program® (GWP) with the intent of improving customer service and PSG’s bottom-line.  The program offers selected, high-caliber temporary employees the
opportunity to work up to 35 hours per week even when they don’t have client
assignments.  GWP employees are paid to work internally at PSG’s office and
receive training; they are then available to fill clients’ emergency staffing requests
and enable PSG to guarantee same-day, 15 minute staffing service to clients. 
Just a few months after the program was initiated, PSG began offering the services
of any unassigned temps to local nonprofit organizations pro bono, while PSG
pays the employees at their regular hourly rates.

Since the program’s inception, PSG has given more than $100,000 worth of
employee work time per year to area non-profits.  The GWP helps PSG ensure it
has top-quality employees on staff and ready to work.  Since the program was
instituted, PSG has filled 99% of its same-day emergency orders, which is almost
twice the industry norm.  PSG’s clients benefit from having a pool of highly-
qualified job candidates at the ready.  The program enables PSG to retain trained
employees, which is also an attractive benefit for clients.

Aaron Green is the founder and president of Professional Staffing Group.  Under
his helm, PSG’s revenues rose 5,780 percent since its inception in 1996. 

Prior to founding PSG, Green worked in the executive search industry and in 1992
founded the executive search firm Commonwealth Resources, Inc., (CRI), a well-
respected boutique executive search firm

Green currently serves as the president of the Massachusetts Staffing Association
(MSA) and is a member of the American Staffing Association (ASA) and
Massachusetts Association of Personnel Services (MAPS). 

Green received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Tufts University.
