Planet DDS is the dental solution company of choice for over half of the top 25 largest dental organizations in the United States. We continue to improve our platform to solve dentistry’s most urgent problems through our software technology. In 2023, it added 5,000 dental practices served in the United States, saw a 53% year-over-year growth in revenue. It now manages one of the largest dental databases in the world with over 1,256 terabytes of customer data and over $7 billion in revenue facilitated through its solutions as it serves the dental needs of over 75 million patients.
For Denticon Patient Engagement: “We are already seeing the added value of Denticon Patient Engagement across many of our KPIs, especially our show rate which went up 18% since our implementation,” said Randa Seif, Chief Operating Officer of CaliDental. “This has been a game changer for our operations both from a cost-cutting and revenue-generating perspective. Our patients have been telling us that they want to be engaged through a more tech-forward approach and the ability to text and email with Denticon has brought our patient engagement to a new level of success.”
For AI capability, practices report seeing an increase of about 21% in treatment acceptance when patients are shown their X-rays with AI annotations.
One customer experienced a 15% revenue increase since adopting AI. “It’s such a powerful tool because interpreting decay with the human eye is inherently a very subjective thing. The more you can make it objective and measurable, then it reduces the chances of human error, and the chance of insurance denying the claim,” said Dr. Sanjay Merchant of Southridge Dental Group.
For Denticon Practice Analytics, customer Kara Trail, Director of Operations for Henritze Dental Group said: “We can pull up the dashboard in Denticon and see how we’re trending so we can identify potential production and schedule opportunities, while having more transparency across our organization. To be able to drill down or filter data has made it so much easier to set and track our goals as a team.”
