2003 NOMINATION PARTNERS PROGRAM

Innovative Program Offers Associations Opportunity to
Generate Revenue and Help Members Gain National Recognition

New York, NY – August 22, 2002 – Offering associations an exciting new way to generate revenue while gaining national recognition for their members, The 2003 American Business AwardsSM today launched its Nomination Partners Program.

The first national, independent, and all-encompassing business awards program, The American Business Awards will recognize business people and companies of all types and sizes that demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, perseverance, creativity, teamwork, and integrity. The awards are nicknamed the SteviesTM for the Greek word for "crowned."

By enrolling in the Nomination Partners Program, associations will receive $50.00 for every nomination submitted by their members who use coded Call for Nominations materials distributed by the associations. The deadline for associations and chambers of commece to enroll in the program is September 30, 2002. Enrollment is free.

The American Business Awards will seek nominations in more than 40 categories ranging from Best Executive to Best Marketing Team to Most Innovative Company. The competition is structured so that nominees will compete only against other firms of their size, in their industry. Winners will be unveiled at a gala, star-studded ceremony in New York City in April 2003.

The program is overseen by a Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors, which includes business luminaries such as Michael Olson, the president & CEO of the American Society of Association Executives, Rich Karlgaard, the publisher of Forbes Magazine, marketing guru Martha Rogers, and Bruce Nelson, chairman & CEO of Office Depot.
