Next Meters is a leader in utility submetering technology. Founded in 2012, the company has now installed more than 3.5 million devices, serving multi-family properties, high-rise buildings, and commercial complexes, with plans to expand into municipal markets in the near future.

From the beginning, Next Meters has worked to bring a dated industry into the present day. The company is always working to provide innovative, conservation-focused metering solutions that simplify utility tracking and empower property owners and residents. Their cutting-edge wireless technology, intuitive software, and plug-and-play hardware solutions have set a new standard in the industry.

The results speak for themselves: today, Next Meters products are chosen for an estimated 75% of all new multi-family construction projects.

A key differentiator is Next Meters’ commitment to customer service and ease of use—their products integrate seamlessly into any new or existing metering configuration, requiring minimal setup while providing real-time data insights for cost savings and sustainability.

With rapid expansion and a growing reputation for excellence and reliability, Next Meters is revolutionizing utility submetering while making a lasting impact on conservation and efficiency. Total 246 words used.

Next Meters’ recent achievements stand out due to their focus on continuous improvement, user experience, and long-term reliability, setting them apart from competitors in the submetering industry. A key to Next Meters' success is that the team is never satisfied with being "good enough;" they are always looking for ways to improve their products to make the experience better for their users.

Unlike traditional mechanical meters that degrade over time, the NM4-I provides consistent accuracy, wireless connectivity, and real-time data monitoring, making utility management easier and more intuitive for users. Recent software advancements, including enhanced leak detection, real-time alerts, and an intuitive mobile interface, give users greater control and transparency over utility consumption, surpassing many competitors who offer only basic metering solutions.

It’s important to note that this push for innovation does not come at the expense of existing products. Every Next Meters product is fully backwards compatible. This means that no device ever becomes obsolete, and customers are never forced into unnecessary upgrades due to incompatibility with newer hardware. Next Meters is so committed to this that they've worked to make it possible for their products to fill in gaps left by other industry players’ decisions to not design for backwards compatibility. Instead of being forced to replace their entire submetering system, users can purchase a single device that works with both Next Meters products and those made by others. This industry-leading approach maximizes long-term value while minimizing disruptions for property owners and managers.

Because of its wireless connectivity and real-time data monitoring capabilities, the NM4-I enables property managers and residents to get detailed usage information, find and address leaks or other problems, and look for opportunities to conserve water. Every aspect of the product has been thoughtfully designed and revised to bring dependable metering to the market in a way that’s easy to understand, install, and use.

In addition to the innovation within the NM4-I, Next Meters has expanded its installation base significantly, reflecting the growing demand for smart utility management solutions.
