As a member-based organization, NRF’s goal for the annual report was to showcase in a few quick clicks how it provides value for and works on behalf of the retail industry. Retail is at the cutting-edge of technology, and NRF wanted a product that represents its membership. The 2012 report places a strong emphasis on user experience – bringing together dynamic pieces of content with easy-to-explore features in one place. Coupled with a hard copy version, the digital report drew more praise within Washington and the retail industry than ever before, and the online traffic tells that story. Within the first two months of release, NRF's 2012 Interactive Annual Report saw more than 10,000 visitors explore the microsite.
